Hi and welcome

I’m Nish, and art has been part of me for as long as I can remember. My journey began at the age of ten, when my father, a talented artist, sat beside me and showed me how to draw. Watching him bring a simple sketch to life sparked something in me — a moment that stayed with me ever since.

Growing up, art became my sanctuary — a place where I could escape, express myself, and feel at peace. Some of my fondest memories are of painting outdoors in the summer, surrounded by nature and lost in creativity. But as life moved on, I drifted away from art, and for many years, that part of me remained quietly in the background.

During COVID, I faced a challenging period with my health that left me feeling disconnected and unmotivated. Then one day, I came across an artist using acrylic pouring, and something clicked. I picked up a brush again, starting with the simplest materials, and rediscovered the joy I had been missing.

What began as experimentation soon evolved into a passion. I explored abstract styles, textured work, and geode-inspired designs, gradually developing my own approach. Today, I focus on creating layered, expressive pieces that combine depth, movement, and intricate detail.

Art brought me back to myself. Now, I create not only for the love of it, but to share that sense of energy, escape, and connection with others.

I discovered a video of artist Jilly Kube working with acrylic pouring, and something awakened inside me. “I could do this,” I thought. For the first time in years, I allowed myself to try again. With the most basic materials I could find, I began. It was messy, unpredictable, and more complex than I expected — but I fell in love with the process.
